How to Change PSP Wallpaper

The PSP allows gamers to play their favorite Sony titles, but it also plays movies on miniature discs and features a web browser for the researcher on the go. There are a number of ways to customize a PSP, including changing the background wallpaper frequently.

1. Switch the month on your PSP's time and date settings to change the basic background color. The PSP has a set rotation of hues based on the month, and you can adjust the color by changing the date.

2. Connect your PSP to a computer using a USB cable to change your wallpaper to your personal saved photos and images. The USB cable connects at the top of the PSP. It needs to be completely connected to finish file transfers.

3. Open the drive on your computer that reads "PSP" after the drive name. The drive type will depend on the peripherals you currently have connected, but most users can locate their PSP through the "G" drive.

4. Look through the "Photo" folder of your PSP on your desktop to determine images you have used as wallpaper. You can double click on the "Photo" folder at the bottom of the "PSP" menu to see thumbnail sketches of each image currently on your PSP.

5. Research your "Pictures" folder on your desktop in a separate screen from your PSP "Photo" screen. You can click on the "Start" menu and click on the "Pictures" icon to look through photos you may want to transfer to the PSP.

6. Drag photos from your computer's "Pictures" folder to the PSP's "Photo" folder to access your favorite images on the PSP. You can select multiple photos by holding the left mouse button and dragging the cursor across your photos until you have captured each image.

7. Utilize the wireless networking capabilities of the latest generation of PlayStation Portables to change your PSP wallpaper on the road. You can activate the WLAN features in your PSP's "Main Menu" to use the web browser in areas with wireless networks.
